Fly To Kittila

You’ll get a traditional cooked English breakfast on your flight to Lapland, before landing around midday to pick up your snowsuit and boots. Then it’s on to the Snow Village, where your action-packed day takes place. Just so you know, lunch and all the activities below are included in the price of your trip. That said, it's worth bringing extra euros for any other food and drink or souvenirs you might want to buy.

Snow Village

Kittila’s Snow Village is home to an ice hotel with igloo-like rooms, an ice bar, an ice chapel and impressive carved ice sculptures. Just so you know – the snow village is built at the beginning of December, so if you’re due to arrive at this time you may see the impressive build in action.

Reindeer Sleigh Ride

Climb into a sleigh, and let Rudolph and Co. gently guide you through snow-covered forests on a short ride.

Husky Adventure

Hop on the back of a husky-led sleigh and you’ll be whisked off on a short ride around the Lappish countryside. There’ll be time to find out how the dogs are trained, plus Santa’s elves have a fun story to tell about how the huskies saved Christmas.

Snowmobiling

After learning how to drive your snowmobile, you can head off on a short ride to explore the winter wilderness. Kids can even have a go, too.

Arctic Storytelling

You’ll get a real taste of tradition when you meet one of the Lapland locals. You can poke around their tent, before listening to age-old stories and legends about Lapland. Arts and crafts are on the cards, too.

Meet Santa

Get your wish list ready, as you’ll hop on a skidoo and travel through the snowy woodland to meet Santa. The elves will help you impress him by teaching you how to say hello in Finnish.

Snow Fun

You can’t come to Lapland without playing in the snow. Start a friendly snowball fight, build a snowman, ride a sledge or learn how to drive a miniature skidoo. Afterwards, warm up by the campfire with a hot berry juice.

Home Time

After three hours in the Snow Village, Santa’s elves will take you to the airport. You’ll get a festive Christmas dinner on your flight back home.

This one-day Lapland adventure takes you to Kitillä’s Snow Village for sleigh rides, snow slides and a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus himself.

The Snow Village is packed with a flurry of fun for all ages – think whizzing down snow slides, driving miniature skidoos, to husky-led sleigh rides and exploring the ice-built bar and chapel. And, when Jack Frost starts to nip, cosy huts with crafts and cups of hot berry juice are always within glove’s reach.

When it’s time to meet the main man, Santa’s elves will whisk you though the snowy forests to his log cabin hideaway. Get ready to chat about your Christmas wish list – and ask all your burning questions. How does he fly around the world in one night? Or how many mince pie does he really eat?

The day’s yours to enjoy at your own pace, with activities you can tick off in any order you like. A rep will meet you at the airport and – along with a team of elves – will be on hand while you’re at the Snow Village.
